Focus Areas: Family Law, Estate Planning, Commercial Debt Collection
When you need a lawyer, you want more than someone who knows the law. You want someone who will listen to what happened, understand what is at stake, and tell you what you need to know.
That is how Bethany Spencer practices law.
She takes the time to hear the whole story before deciding what comes next. She asks questions. She explains the law without making you feel like you need a law degree to understand it. And when there is a problem to solve, she works with you to find the best way forward.
Bethany represents individuals, families, businesses, lenders, and creditors in family law, estate planning, and commercial debt collection matters throughout West Michigan.

Life Outside the Practice
Bethany lives in Ottawa County with her husband, their two children, and two energetic Australian Shepherds. As a wife and mother, she brings a personal understanding of what is at stake when a family is going through change, and that understanding shapes how she counsels clients through some of their hardest decisions. Outside of work, she values time with family above almost everything else, which is part of why she works so hard to help her clients protect theirs.
